Meet Buscemi
Buscemi may have been a timid and nervous girl in the shelter, but in her foster home, she’s truly come into her own—and even likes to rule the roost! She thrives on routine and structure, and once she feels safe, her personality really starts to shine.
This sweet girl has the most adorable habit of “telling” you when it’s bedtime, and she loves being close to her people. She enjoys curling up on your lap for naps, playing with wand toys, and chasing a laser pointer. She also loves her scratching posts and can often be found happily lounging nearby. Buscemi forms strong bonds with her people and will even go looking for them when they leave the house.
While she’s made wonderful progress, Buscemi is still a sensitive soul at heart. She will need a calm, quiet home with patient adopters who can continue to provide her with the consistency and reassurance she depends on. A pet free, adult only home will suit her best, as too much activity can still be overwhelming for her. Buscemi would also prefer to be the only pet in the home.
Buscemi must remain on a prescription urinary diet. She is currently doing well on Hill’s c/d, and this will need to be continued to support her.
With time, love, and a stable routine, Buscemi blossoms into a deeply affectionate and loyal companion. If you’re looking for a gentle, quirky girl who will form a strong bond and keep you on a schedule (especially at bedtime!), Buscemi could be the perfect match for you. 💛
