Meet Tofu 

Tofu is a very shy, sensitive boy who is still learning to feel safe in the world around him. New environments and unfamiliar people can be overwhelming at first, so he will need a patient and understanding adopter who is willing to give him the time and space he needs to come out of his shell.

While Tofu may start off reserved, once he feels comfortable and trusts you, his sweet side shines-he enjoys cuddling close and being near his person. He prefers affection on his own terms and does not like being picked up, so respecting his boundaries will be key to building a strong bond.

Tofu does best with a consistent routine and a calm environment. He is currently on a Hill’s sensitive stomach diet (non-prescription) and is doing well on it. He also cannot have soft toys, but he does enjoy springs and balls, which help encourage his playful side as he gains confidence.

Tofu is looking for a quiet home with someone who understands shy cats and is willing to go at his pace. Watching him grow in confidence and come out of his shell will be incredibly rewarding.
